মৎস্য সুরক্ষা ও সংরক্ষণ আইন ১৯৫০ অনুযায়ী চায়না দূয়ারী জাল সহ যে কোন ফিক্সড ইঞ্জিন উৎপাদন, মজুদ, আমদানী, বাজারজাতকরণ, পরিবহন, নিজের অধিকারে রাখা, প্রদর্শন করা অথবা ব্যবহার আইনত দন্ডনীয় অপরাধ।

Vision and Mission
Vision:

Meeting the demand for animal meat from fish sources, alleviating poverty 
and increasing export earnings.

Mission:

To meet the nutritional needs of the country by increasing the sustainable production of fisheries 
and other aquatic resources including fish and shrimp and to increase export earnings and to achieve 
the desired development in the socio-economic sector of poor fishermen and fishermen in Bangladesh 
through proper management of open water bodies with the participation of the target population.
